The Cannabis Compliance Board met today and discussed the future of applications for licenses. Historically extensions have been made, and now with COVID-19 and the recent litigation, settling parties have been granted extended time to pass inspection and begin operations. This extension would allow a final hard date for final inspections and it will allow the Board a clean start. It will also give time for staff to examine non-operational licenses. The extension allows for 16 months to February 2022, those who do not become operational by that time will need to surrender their license and petition the board for a hearing to allow for extension.
