Daily Update- October 15, 2020 Economic Forum, Early Voting

The Economic Forum held a meeting today where they heard several presentations on the state of the economy in Nevada. The information is intended to help the forum when they start making their revenue projections in the coming months. Most of the presentations centered around how COVID-19 has impacted the state, programs that are available to residents and businesses, insurance, and tourism. They also presented a history of projections over the past 20 years as well as comparisons of what last year’s projections were with actual numbers. Voting has begun! The Nevada Secretary of State has started releasing information regarding returned ballots, and in person early voting starts this weekend. So far, the percent of total returned ballots is 54.41% Democrat, 23.29% Republican, and 22.31% Other.
