Las Vegas City Manager Scott Adams gave a report during the City Council meeting today to go over parts of the COVID-19 recovery. Since the White House designated Clark County as a red zone, he has asked for more enforcement out in the community regarding how businesses are complying with the Governor’s mandates. This includes wearing face coverings, social distancing, and other compliance issues. The initial enforcement check is being done by City of Las Vegas employee ambassadors, and is then followed up by someone from the Business Licensing Department. One of the biggest issues in enforcement has been youth sports fields, as there continues to be adults congregating on sidelines. More information about the new enforcement program is HERE.
