Daily Update- August 11, 2020 SB4 Signed

Today, Governor Sisolak, joined virtually by stakeholders and community supporters, signed Senate Bill 4, an act relating to public health geared towards worker safety. Governor Sisolak was joined, virtually, at the signing by Geoconda Argüello-Kline, the Secretary-Treasurer of the Culinary Workers Union, Local 226, Bill Hornbuckle, CEO and President MGM Resorts, and Irma Fernandez, daughter of Adolfo Fernandez, a utility porter and namesake of the bill, who tragically passed after contracting COVID-19. The press release and the Governor’s full comments can be found HERE.
