Daily Update- September 11, 2020 Honoring 9/11, DMV Extensions

Today, by executive order, Governor Sisolak ordered the flags of the United States and the State of Nevada to be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol and state public buildings and grounds for the entire day on Friday, September 11, 2020 in honor of those that lost their lives on September 11, 2001. The order can be read HERE.

This week, Governor Sisolak directed an additional extension for non-commercial driver’s licenses, identification cards, non-commercial instruction permits, and Driver Authorization Cards. These licenses, permits, and IDs with an expiration date of March 12, 2020, or later have been extended for an additional 60 days from September 14 through November 12, 2020. The existing extension is set to expire this Sunday, September 13. A one-year extension for drivers age 65 and older remains in effect. More information can be found HERE.
