The G3Wire- July 27, 2021: New Mask Mandate

Today, Governor Sisolak announced that the state of Nevada will be adopting the latest CDC recommendations regarding masks:

The CDC recommends that everyone, including fully vaccinated individuals, wear a mask in public indoor settings in counties with substantial or high transmission, which includes Clark and Washoe counties.  

The Governor released  Emergency Directive 047, which allows a three-day grace period to implement the new State mask mandate, meaning that Tuesday’s updates from the CDC will formally go into effect on Friday, July 30, 2021.
